High occupancy sets tone in corporate rate negotiations

The overall range is within the company's expectations, Chambers said. The markets in which its properties operate comprise mostly full-service hotels and are consistent with the global and national forecasts on revenue-per-available-room growth, he added. There are some opportunities to grow revenue through occupancy, he said, but most of it is coming through average daily rate.

I have been working at McNeill Hotel Company part-time

The job is not stressful or demanding. The managers are very reasonable and understanding.

The Pay is lower than the average for other high-end hotels.

    Advice to Management

Increase Pay because of the amount of service one has to provide the guest.

I applied through other source. I interviewed at McNeill Hotel Company (Boise, ID) in May 2017.

My property was purchased and I was already the General Manager. They did a meet and greet with me to tell me about their company and what they had to offer. They reassured me that all my staff would be able to continue employment under their company. This meant the world to me, my team is what makes me a success in this industry and I did not have even one person I would not want to move forward with. They were organized and had someone to help show me the ropes of their new process.
