Medcor provides outsourced health services to improve outcomes, service levels, and access to care, while reducing costs. Medcor provides its services through on-site clinics at large client locations and via telemedicine for smaller locations and mobile workers.

Medcor provides health decision-making support to patients at the moment injuries occur or at the onset of illness. Medcor determines the severity of each case and the best course of action. With this approach, unnecessary treatments, claims, and costs are avoided, while necessary and helpful treatments are obtained right away. Medcor also provides a wide range of treatment, screening, prevention, and other health and safety-related services.

We offer our services on a standalone basis and in combinations to meet each client’s needs. Our scope of services includes occupational health, primary care, and urgent care, and workers’ compensation services.

We follow evidence-based medicine, using only treatments that are proven to be effective.

Medcor supports the long-term wellness of its patients through a variety of screening, prevention, and educational services.

We also assist customers in meeting federal and state regulatory requirements for reporting injuries, monitoring fitness for duty and workplace hazards, and safeguarding the confidentiality of personal health information.

Medcor serves customers in a range of industries throughout the United States.

    I have been working at Medcor full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    I have been with Medcor for 5+ years. For a private only company, they truly are family and care about your growth and development. I am definitely not a number, but a person at Medcor. They do their best to keep up with industry compensation and benefits. They changed health benefits in 2018; it was a little rough at first, but seems to be getting better. No one likes change. I have not experienced a disruption in my coverage.

    Cons

    It would be nice to hear from the Senior Leadership team on a regular basis. Keep their employees in the know.

    Application

    I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Medcor (McHenry, IL) in June 2012.

    Interview

    Quick and easy! Once I applied online I was immediatley contacted by a recruiter to go over my skills and expecations for the position. The recruiter was so friendly, and informative. I was then brought in for an in person interview (They were very flexible with scheduling) and was offered a position the following day. The hiring process was simple, and there were easy instructions for everything that needed to be completed before my start date.
