Mission: We believe the most successful media campaigns resemble a spiral, constantly testing new ideas, measuring, reevaluating, and striving for an ongoing improvement in results. At Mediassociates, we never rest on yesterday’s achievements; we always want more.

Mediassociates – Why Work For Us?

We’re a media planning, buying and optimization agency that guides clients to better advertising campaign results.

We use powerful research to build insightful and innovative media plans. By measuring ongoing performance we can identify under-performing media that can be redeployed for even greater returns. To us, it boils down to generating demonstrable results and building an ever-improving marketing model.

What do our clients say?

“Mediassociates’ approach is very right-brain/left-brain and blends creativity and logical thinking. It’s one of the characteristics I most value in them as a partner…”

“They continue to be excellent to work with, great quality, responsive, modest cost, and have some of the highest professional and ethical standards of any company I have worked with in my 40-year career.”

Our agency has run advertising and communications campaigns for more than 200 clients over 19 years. Our leaders have more than 20 years of industry experience each, and our rapidly expanding team of 40+ media professionals live and breathe this business. And it’s noteworthy that our agency staff turnover is less than 8% annually, vs. the ad industry average of 30% — meaning the team you work with today will be the same helping you tomorrow.

Mediassociates is based in Sandy Hook, Connecticut.

Why compromise?

You want a career that gives you the opportunity to do your best work for forward-thinking clients and to still have a life at the end of the day? Welcome to Mediassociates.

Lose the commute and gain a waterfall by joining our agency located 60 miles north of Manhattan in Fairfield County, Conn. We’re a team of media and digital natives who thrive on the challenge of solving problems and delivering exceptional results for clients. And we do.

But we also appreciate balance. We believe the drive and passion we bring to our work is nurtured by our lives outside the office. We live and work in a beautiful place, and it shows in the quality of work we generate.

We accomplish our vision by finding, developing, and embracing the people who help fulfill this promise and embody our culture:

    Pros

Group of incredibly smart and devoted employees that give 100%+ for clients and the greater good of the company; opportunity to work with specialized groups in the agency outside your area of expertise; ability to share opinions/ideas in group thinks for client projects and initiatives; optional flex hours; bi-yearly bonus and benefits; agency wide culture club activities throughout the year; potential for tuition reimbursement

    Cons

Can be longer than standard 9-5 hours, depending on your role.
Typical growing pains as agency expands and takes on larger/higher level clients.

    Supervisor Interview

Anonymous Employee in Sandy Hook, CT
    Accepted Offer
    Positive Experience
    Average Interview

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Mediassociates (Sandy Hook, CT) in January 2018.

    Interview

I connected with the recruiter who was handling the hiring for the Supervisor role. Had a phone screening with him to talk more about my background and if the role would be a good fit. Then had in-person interviews with several members of the team, as well as met with a few members of the executive team at the same time. Once I received the offer I also had a follow up call (at my request) to get some clarity on questions I didn't ask in person. This is something that really stood out to me as lot of the larger agencies wouldn't take the time to have a more casual conversation about the role, what's expected, growth opportunities, etc. This phone call made it clear that wanted to make sure I was the right person for the job, and also showed that they were willing to invest their own time to make sure I excelled in this position. That personal touch and the transparency throughout the entire process were two big reasons why I accepted.
