Medical Solutions Interviews
Recruiter Interview
Anonymous Employee in Dallas-Fort WorthNo OfferNegative ExperienceAverage InterviewApplicationI applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Medical Solutions (Dallas-Fort Worth) in Sep 2023
Interview
Odd panel interview (in reality they are 5 mini interviews at one time.) 1. Phone call. 2. Panel interview with like 4 people (they called the interview 2. 3. Another "panel interview." They referred to that as the final round. 3. The first phone interview was ok. Normal stuff, but I think because on their website they force you to place a salary expectation. Placing "negotiable" was not an option. I placed the lowest base I saw for the role (I think this is why I was offered interviews.) This was later confirmed when the recruiter stated "We are looking for someone at X salary range." It was the lowest. Phone call went well. Normal. 4. Second interview was a bit annoying due to the panel thing. That is basically 5 mini-interviews. There were like 5 people who introduced themselves (including one guy with a hat) that announced his presence but said "I am just a silent observer" or something akin to that. It went well. I felt respected and enjoying the 5 mini-interviews. 5. 3rd one was terrible. Immediately I got these sense that didn't want me a candidate and possible chose someone else before the interview even started. There were 3 people this time. They would ask two questions back to back. I noticed they would interrupt me when asking them to either repeat a question or ask for more understanding with what they were asking. The interrupting was jarring. One lady was drinking water during the zoom, started choking, regained her composure while I was answering and (which interrupted me) and refused to repeat her questions. Another bald black gentleman with glasses would do the same thing. The interview felt like a farce. They DEFINITELY already hired someone before my final round started, but needed to go through the process to make things seem equal. 6. It was so bad that I considered just calling it there and letting them know I knew what this was and didn't appreciate them wasting my time. Any way, to finish things up, it became very obvious when the previously mentioned gentleman asked me a question regarding my "calm" personal explanation about my personality. He broke character for a second there and asked me some BS about "tell me about the fire you get when you're mad" or something like that. It was very weird. It was as if he couldn't accept that some people are calm in the face of adversity and have a thick skin. I could tell they didn't actually want to interview from the second the zoom started. They already picked a candidate, but needed to appear like I had a fair chance. That passive aggression during my interview were telling.InterviewThe normal stuff... "Why medical solutions?" Etc.
