Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center I'm interested in pursuing a career as a Behavior Technician. Can you tell me what type of time off you offer for full-time and part-time? Also, do you offer other benefits (medical, 401K, training/education and/or tuition reimbursement) and do you have bonus opportunities? Thank you.

    Pros

Here's my honest opinion...I've worked in the UES location for almost 4 years. I love the location and the people I work with. My manager is great and she is fair. She always pushes you to do better and cares. Because of her I was able to return to school and pursue my degree. The tuition reimbursement is great, the benefits are phenomenal, the 401k plan is pretty good too. The overtime is unlimited when there is a need. I've worked at both Koch and the main campus and all I can say is that the people here are good and they care. Even under stressful situations we usually come together and make things work. I truly can't see myself working anywhere else. I love providing quality care to my patients because that's what they deserve. When patients come here they know that they are in good hands. We all make sure of it. I am so fortunate to be here.

    Cons

None that I can think of....This is a great place to work for and yes people have left to go to other hospitals, thinking the grass would be greener on the other side. One thing I will say is that no hospital in NYC tops Memorial Sloan Kettering, so when people leave they eventually come back because of the family dynamic we have here.

The interview process was very direct and clean. I networked with a supervisor who asked pointed questions and then discussed the next steps on the call. The wait time between last interview and offer was a little nerve-racking
