I worked at Menards part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

It was fun, easy, informative, and very flexible with hours. Also bonuses for meeting department goals are easily reached and random giftsbgiven for holidays was pretty cool.

    Cons

It's retail and pays less than most places for retail, but with the bonuses it might make up for it. No real complaints besides that.

    Advice to Management

Don't be so clicky, but let's be real, you won't change because people generally don't change.

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Menards.

    Interview

Pretty standard for a high school seniors second job.. Basic questions about personality traits and characteristics.
You sit in the back office with the HR coordinator who goes thru the interview process with a series of Qs.
