I have been working at Mercury Media full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Working at Mercury Media has its highs and lows, as do all agencies, but Mercury Media is in a special position in the market which allows opportunity for fast growth in your career.

The digital side of the business is not as well established as the TV side, which allows digital employees a lot of autonomy to mold and shape the direction of the company. If you are a go-getter with good ideas, they will be heard and implemented without the bureaucracy of larger agencies.

Many changes have been made internally over the last year, including within HR and Account, which makes any review older than the summer of 2017 completely irrelevant.

    - Best 401k program at any company i have been at
    - Health benefits are pretty decent (not a huge pro but definitely not a con)
    - More of a focus on employee happiness is very evident (free PTO days during the summer, company events & happy hours are more common, etc.)
    - Work-life balance is great. I have worked at larger agencies with "unlimited" PTO, but working 9am - 7pm was a common occurrence. At Mercury, the workload is pretty well balanced so hours are very manageable.

The CEO is a great guy who genuinely cares about his employees. Very down to earth and willing to listen to the ideas of anyone from Analysts to VPs.

    Cons

If you do not go above and beyond in your current job, this isnt the job for you. The growth stage of Mercury needs those willing to work outside of their job description to get things done.

Being in the growth stage leads to some disorganization and misunderstanding of roles.

Office space is a bit limited, specifically the conference room & kitchen.

    Advice to Management

Invest in the employees that are necessary for your business.
