I had the privilege of being the CIO at Mercury for the past six years. Mercury is an exceptional company, with great leadership, employees, technology and a culture second to none. There is a winning, “can do” attitude at Mercury that is stronger than any company I have seen. That said, it is also the most collaborative and positive work environment I have seen. There is a strong focus employee development, lifelong learning, valuing people’s ideas and recognizing contribution at every level. Keep doing exactly what you have been – Always focusing on customer satisfaction, winning, introducing new and innovative solutions all while focusing on employees and creating a workplace second to none.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Mercury Systems (Huntsville, AL) in February 2018.
The process was focused not just on my background and experience, but also on whether the position and the company would be a good, mutually beneficial fit. I found this refreshing and helpful, in that it reduced some of the tension that often surrounds interviews, and candidly focused on whether this was a good fit for both parties.
