I have been working at Mercury Systems full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The executive leadership is incredible, and the working environment is great.

    Cons

The company is evolving, but it could move faster in certain areas to operate more competitively, not to say it's needed but it would be a long-term benefit.

    Advice to Management

Adapt to modern trends a bit faster.

    RF Test Technician III Interview

    Anonymous Employee in Camarillo, CA

    Positive Experience
    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took a week. I interviewed at Mercury Systems (Camarillo, CA) in March 2017.

    Interview

Panel Interview with 3 people. One Supervisor and Two Lead Tech's. I felt from the minute I walked in I was treated with high respect. Felt comfortable within minutes of sitting down. REMEMBER: to bring your Passport or Birth Certificate. It is Required for a tour. If they are interested in you, and you don't have your Passport or Birth Certificate, you will be invited to return for the tour.
The interview process will take approx. 45 minutes to an hour. Be prepared to answer some RF questions that are not easy. The Ohm's Law questions are super easy. First day Electronic school voltage divider, voltage drop and current questions in a series circuit.

    Interview Questions

    • A very short written test (about 3 or 4 questions). 2 or 3 Ohm's Law questions, (Very Easy). Series Circuit to solve current, voltage drops and a voltage divider question.
1 RF question. Diagram with a 24dbm input through a coupler with a 3 Dbm loss. What is your output?
Don't be over-concerned if you don't know the answer. They will help and explain.
