Small company with friends & family feel. Personalities around the office were hard-working, focused, fun, and friendly. Good opportunity for large impact and influence on projects. New thoughts and ideas encouraged and appreciated. Good work/life balance.

No formal SDLC process. Fairly small staff and basic business model.

    Advice to Management

Leverage 3rd party libraries and frameworks to speed up development. Implement project management and SDLC. Move closer to public transportation.

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Merge Design & Interactive (Chicago, IL) in January 2016.

Got contacted by the recruiter within a week and a half of applying. Basically went through my portfolio during the interview, talked about what the company does and what they are looking for in a intern. Nothing too stressful
