I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at MessageBird (Singapore)

    Interview

The first interview with the HR team was positive, and gave a good impression of the company.

Second interview with the hiring manager was very unprofessional, and specific questions regarding the role and company were met with a 'Shouldn't you already know this?'. This left a very poor impression of the company.

It's a big day at MessageBird ... we have not one but TWO acquisitions to announce! Welcome to the team, 24sessions and Hull. 🎉 Amsterdam-based 24sessions is the leading video-first engagement platform that connects companies with customers via seamless mobile video interactions — embedded directly onto a business’ website. The deal brings video into MessageBird’s already extensive platform, and together we are set to provide our customers with the world's most comprehensive and powerful omnichannel offering. Atlanta-based Hull.io is a Customer Data Platform (CDP) that allows a single source of truth to be synchronized across workflows. The Hull team will join the MessageBird CDP team to create an in-depth analytics layer between its channel offering and the workflow solutions it provides. To both teams: welcome to our nest! We look forward to working together to build the future of communications.

...Some of the benefits we had while working from the office are gone and no new ones are in place, meaning that some people make less money today (since they don't save on lunch and have increased energy bills from working from home)....
