I have been working at Metropolitan State College of Denver full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

The office I worked in was professional and had minimal politics. Work life balance was equal. Had some overtime but comp time was available. it was great working with students and the faculty.

    Cons

There was a certain amount of politics at the College in general. The pay was a bit lower than I would have hoped and upward movement was available but you had to wait a bit longer.

    Advice to Management

Given the budgets are large, work with employees to move up in their careers.

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Metropolitan State College of Denver (Denver, CO) in July 2013.

    Interview

Very professional and well organized. Everyone was extremely helpful and outgoing. It’s a great program with a lot of history. The campus is located in downtown Denver and everything is within access which makes the recruiting process easier.
