I have been working at Mettler-Toledo full-time
stable company to work for, great techs.
Departments have individual agenda and do not work well together.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Mettler-Toledo (Aurora, IL) in August 2017.
Since Glassdoor will not let me write a really critical review, I have to tone this down a factor of ten. This company makes you do a Power Point presentation they say has no right or wrong answers. Well that's wrong because one of the panelists said I provided the "right" answer. It was a waste of time. In the end they said it would take too much time to get me "up to speed". Ha! I presented them with all the technology I worked on (Industrial Controls) and they looked at me with blank faces. They saw I was older and I suspect that was a factor. It was a three person panel. They were negative from start especially one with the German accent. This is a garage setup location. I wouldn't want to work here. It didn't look inviting or fun given the management in place. I suspect they don't want to pay for talent either as several engineers left. They are recruiting for multiple positions and I know what the want to pay, the new hires will be foreign kids out of school in their first job and will have to be ''brought up to speed." Remember this review is toned down a factor of 10. Good luck to new applicants and hires.
