Company pays unprecedented 100% health premiums with low deductions. It is 6k more in total compensation for employees. Micropact now has 3 weeks of vacation and 10 holidays for new hires. More vacatiion days for long term employees! I enjoy working here. Also, we have lots of certified QA people, talented architects, amazing developers, and top class management.
C-level and Sr. Management do not realize that talent is available in Raleigh. If they ignore the less expensive talent in RDU area, company is going to suffer in coming years.
Advice to Management
Leave your comfort zone and focus in RDU area to hire new talent. Otherwise, the company will be left with just a platform without any products.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at MicroPact.
Phone screening, then some time later three interviews rapid fire in person. The recruiters are extremely responsive and friendly. The interviews are usually with a two managers and a potential peer. The managers are often 1 friendly and 1 dismissive, but this is more due to chance than to planning.
