I worked at Mid-America Festivals as an intern
Great experience, great environment, fun job assignments
minimum wage pay, no positions to grow into
I applied online. I interviewed at Mid-America Festivals (Minneapolis, MN) in May 2017.
Very unprofessional and a waste of your time if you are looking for a real career. Was asked to come into the downtown office and my interviewer was on the phone while I sat in the room listening. He conducted a very relaxed interview and didn't ask any questions regarding my resume. He made it sound like I got the job before even interviewing me, which sounds good, until they offer you the job with VERY low pay and little benefits. Went back to counter my official offer and they told me my job was offered to someone else who accepted the lower salary. Horrible practice for the interview process, even worse to offer someone a job and give it away in negotiations... I did not call back. I would not consider working for Mid-America Festivals.
