    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Mid-States Bolt & Screw full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Career opportunities were many, and beginning they were a small enough company that advancement was possible.

    Cons

Over time the ownership put too much of the management of employees into the hands of the HR department, which deftly adopted a policy of not recognizing individual employee accomplishments and advanced skills. Some of the upper management projected attitude of looking down on employees that they felt had inferior educations.

    Advice to Management

in this changing pool of employees it would be in your best interest to not only recognize but to encourage the demonstration of commitment and dedication among those few employees that pass through your hiring practices that possess these attributes, as they will play a big part in your companies growing success.
