    Pros

In a broadcast landscape where jobs are constantly being eliminated, especially live on-air talent, and payroll expenses are being minimized in every way possible, Mid-West Family shines as a bright spot in the industry by investing in its talent, sales and programming alike, and in the resources to keep the company strongly rooted in the Madison community. Moreover, it's products and services prove solid in helping businesses of all sizes prosper every day. I've received very positive feedback from the clients in my portfolio about their ROI and experience with our team. That gives me all the confidence and inspiration I need every day to contact more businesses in and around Madison who I know will benefit from working with us.

Additionally, the management team at Mid-West is the best I've worked with in the business. Each manager has a unique set of strengths with makes the management team a fantastic trio. They are dialed into us doing everything is takes to grow the business without losing sight of the importance of meeting our clients' needs and goals. We've all heard the expression "it all starts at the top." The top is a good thing at Mid-West Family!

Finally, I've worked for many companies that talk the talk about family first and work-life balance. Mid-West Family is the first one I've worked for that also walks the walk.

    Cons

No cons that I can think of.

    Advice to Management

Stay the course with the focus on integrated marketing. It's the healthiest approach for our clients which leads to repeat business, and it keeps our cost per sale efficient.

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Midwest Family Broadcasting (Madison, WI).

    Interview

Two weeks total from introduction to hiring. They are excellent at communicating during the recuriting process, exceptionally informal interview, jeans and t-shirt work environment was lax to say the least.
