I have been working at MindGeek full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    -no micromanagement
-always stuff to be done, but never overloaded
    -very chill environment
-full benefits kick in after 90 days, including medical, dental, vision, and $ to put toward a gym membership

    Cons

-starting pay per hour is low and not enough to live off comfortably (still slightly above what min wage is right now, but in one of the most expensive states to live in, that's not worth much)

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at MindGeek.

    Interview

Not applicable. The most difficult part was being part of a transition involving rude unprofessional people from Montreal, and of course, being lied to about the nature of my employment subsequently.

    Interview Questions

    • If I knew what brands were what and how to write for them -- and since the answer to that was yes, my interview process was pretty straightforward. Ironically their new head writer had no clue about anything and actually declined my boss's offer of a teleconference so we could all get on the same page. I've never seen anything so dysfunctional.   1 Answer
