As we continue to push towards an equal future, more and more women are forging the paths for others. And B&T doesn't think it's right that some of these women aren't recognised for their inspiring efforts every day. Which is why we've created a Women in Media series!

Getting brand and demand to work in harmony is our industry's biggest challenge

As we begin our annual journey to Cannes, we go with every business in the world at war with itself. The war is between the ecommerce, acquisition, technology, brand and channel teams and the battlefield is data - who owns it, interprets it and what actions are driven from it.

Mindshare – Why Work For Us?

undefined

Mindshare is a global network of over 7000 people (116 offices in 86 countries) dedicated to being different and creating awesome results for our clients.

Mindshare is the first new global company that WPP created. We were born with the ambition to change the world through media. Our birth in 1997 shifted the focus from media as a pure commodity to media as a change agent. Our ambition was to go beyond the traditional media descriptors of 'Optimise, Capitalise, Maximise.' We will not be defined by the formulaic definitions of media.

Our role in this world is to help clients grow their business and to become their lead business partner and we achieve this through a culture of original thinking driven by speed, teamwork and provocation.

Mindshare is part of GroupM, which oversees the media investment management sector for WPP, the world’s leading communications services group.

If you value speed, teamwork and provocation, then you belong at Mindshare... Check out our 'Work for us' page for more info on how to find current openings, what we look for and why you should work at Mindshare.

Throughout history Original Thinkers have changed the world. In media, it was us. We rewrote the rules in 1997 and we want you to help us do it again. If you value speed, teamwork and provocation, then you belong in the Mindshare family. We'll encourage you to break the rules, knock things down, rebuild them better and reinvent the impossible.  The only question is where do you want to start?

Pick a destination and join the revolution.

I worked at Mindshare full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Friendly Environment. Nice & supportive team. Employees are willing to teach or help on the spot. Many trainings are available to both current employees and new comers.

    Cons

Long working hours but that's normal for a media agency. It also depends on how you manage your time during the day. Working in a fast pace environment can be stressful sometimes, it is important to know how to prioritize tasks. Overall, it was a good experience for me!

    Application

The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Mindshare (Chicago, IL) in January 2018.

    Interview

Mike Lochmondy made the process incredibly easy. I started interviewing just before Christmas and had an offer by the first week in January. Mike worked through schedules around the holiday so I could interview while I happened to be in New York. After meeting with the team I received feedback the same day and an offer the next day. One of the best recruiting scenarios I've ever encountered.
