I worked at Minnetronix (More than 8 years)
The hours, salary and benefits are good - flexible hours and casual dress policy are a plus. If you want a wide variety of experience in the medical device industry this is the place for you.
Minnetronix provides contract design, development and manufacturing services to other medical device companies. Some customers are great to work with, others are not. You need a thick skin, confidence in your own abilities and good customer service skills to survive and be promoted beyond an entry level position.
Advice to Management
Work on promoting and rewarding the skills of employees that have been with the company for more than 5 years. Often good and dependable employees are overlooked in favor of the next whiz kid. All too often the whiz kids leave for the next big thing, but your dependable employees are still there.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Minnetronix (Saint Paul, MN) in November 2014.
The interview was very short. I met three people. Hr, the manager, and a technical lead. It lasted about an hour and I was pretty surprised when I found out I got the position because I am pretty sure I asked them more questions then they asked me. I answered all of their questions but they didn't answer all of mine.
