Even at an entry leve, there is a high PTO accrual rate at Minnetronix. They are flexible on hours for the engineering department. The health benefits are good. There is a variety of project exposure.
Management decisions are questionable. Due to their business model, they tend to get into multiple situations were unplanned activities and scope changes happen frequently. However, there is seldom push back from Minnetronix to hold to schedules and budgets.
Advice to Management
Keep a finger on the pulse of the projects and scope changes. When fires do occur, push back at the customer with reasonable justifications as to why something will take longer.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Minnetronix (Saint Paul, MN) in November 2014.
The interview was very short. I met three people. Hr, the manager, and a technical lead. It lasted about an hour and I was pretty surprised when I found out I got the position because I am pretty sure I asked them more questions then they asked me. I answered all of their questions but they didn't answer all of mine.
