    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Mississippi State Hospital full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You get trained, tested, and you have good benefits, The nursing home has a professional staff working environment.

    Cons

On the nursing home side you do get pulled to other buildings besides the one you are assigned to; however, that is not everyday.

    Advice to Management

It would be nice if they would quarantine residents when they have certain conditions that are contagious or possible conditions that can spread to other residents and staff. However, airborne conditions cannot be contained as easily, so we do wear mass.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Mississippi State Hospital in August 2016.

    Interview

Turn in an application as well as a curriculum vitae or resume on their website. Wait for any job offers via email. Answer a few preliminary questions, agree to an unpaid orientation period, take a short exam to verify understanding of job requirements, and sign agreements to be hired. The hiring process proved to be very simple and straightforward with this company, though they are quite thorough in their prerequisite criteria.
