I have been working at Missouri State University part-time (More than a year)
Relaxed place to work, supportive staff and faculty, many different ways to learn on the job, lots of benefits although limited for part time staff, and lots of protocol put in place to protect employees. MSU really cares about the whole well being of their employees and students.
Budgets cuts have hurt everyone this year some of us had our positions entirely cut due to the cuts.
Advice to Management
Always be ready to step in when Vendors get confused and irritated when there isn't a real place to back a truck into in. Otherwise, thanks for taking care of us and having letters of recommendation ready for us during this horrible time.
I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Missouri State University (Springfield, MO) in July 2016.
Started with a phone interview before invited to campus for an in-person interview. Interview included a written test of customer service questions and sql. Interview was conducted by four-person team from the department.
