I have been working at Mistras Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great for gaining experience with MT, PT and UTT... You will be trained and earn your necessary hours to become a level II technician fairly quickly and they pay for your classes.

    Cons

The pay isn't great and you have to work a tremendous amount of hours to really survive in Los Angeles and not live in a run down neighborhood. If you're not living with your parents or have a significant other that makes good money you'll struggle unless you're blessed to trained in a high end inspection method...

    Advice to Management

Pay your technicians a better wage so that they are doing more than just surviving. Give more people a chance to learn high end inspection...
