Advice to Management

Hopefully the CEO reads this so he knows what is going on. First some background: I have a Master's Degree In Bilingual Education and have worked with customers of all nationalities; which is essential in e-commerce. Additionally, my current support role includes working an 8 hour shift constantly replying to emails, inbound chats, and phone calls for customers; all working in an e-commerce business too. With that said, this completely meets and exceeds the job posting requirements.
My task was to complete a series of mock online support tickets. I answered them the same way I answer my current ones. Never had I had a compliant from a customer or my manager; so I know I am doing something right. After answering the support tickets, I submitted my application and applied for a position I could work outside of my present job.
I was told there were lots of people applying, although I searched for hours for this job and found it through a search engine, not a job posting board which are always flooded with applications.
In the end guess who was rejected? The person with the education and experience. Go figure.
