I worked at Morgan Borszcz Consulting full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great opportunity to enter the consulting/contracting sector. Compensation is very fair. Provides opportunities to travel both locally and internationally. There is the ability to work collaboratively with contract program office and other contractor companies.

    Cons

A majority of the work is administrative. Growth is typically in title and not responsibility or opportunity. Aside from your daily requirements, business development/proposal writing become “mandatory” to achieve merit based goals. There aren’t many specific goals to be rewarded on.

    Advice to Management

Continue to provide variety and opportunity to employees. It’s easy to get pigeon holed on a contract so providing a new opportunities (contracts) for current employees should be encouraged.

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Morgan Borszcz Consulting (San Diego, CA) in February 2016.

    Interview

There is no real process- just a manager who finds resumes, contacts them and schedules a weird interview. There's no HR, so as you can imagine the recruiting process is a joke.
