I worked at Morrison & Foerster full-time
Really smart people and a lot of resources to use. Fantastic networking opportunities.
For as beautiful as an office as it is, charging employees $1 for a soda and having fresh fruit platters delivered quarterly is just pitiful. For as many hours as we need to work to satisfy the demand for our services (many times 7 days in a row) I'd hope the perks would be more "Google-like". Five years is a long time to wait before you can be considered "Senior"
Advice to Management
Treat your employees that are not partners or associates like jewels in your crown. Say hello when you pass us in the hall instead of looking at the floor. Learn our names and be friendly. We know it's stressful but you stress us out even more.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Morrison & Foerster (New York, NY).
I applied online and received and email from a recruiter at their San Francisco office to schedule a phone screen. The woman was very sweet. She called on a Monday afternoon. The phone screen was very straight forward. I finished her questions in about 15 minutes. After I finished her questions, she said that she'd like to schedule an in person interview for me with the paralegal team in New York.
