    Mortenson literally strives to be a "far superior" builder compared to the competition. So, the company will do everything it needs to accomplish this.
    50+ year track record of amazing, successful projects.
    Amazing C-level leadership.
    Lots of opportunities to grow.
    You'll work on some of the most amazing, high profile projects in the country.
    Great benefits, profit sharing, and health plan.


    Because Mortenson strives to be the best, a lot will be required of you. Projects are always expected to be done early and under budget, no matter what which may include working long hours, moving around the country, or working weekends. Don't expect to work 40 hours a week in the filed. This isn't necessarily a con, but it can be challenging if you have a family and want a more traditional, 8-5 job.

    Advice to Management

    Field managers and leaders need to be more sensitive and supportive with the fact that some employees do value time with their family even though they might not.

    I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Mortenson (Seattle, WA) in October 2017.


    typical interview questions mostly behavioral ones. it was not a stressful interview for me because I was so prepared but since I am an international student they did not offer me the job in order to avoid visa sponsorship.
