Mountain Peak Marketing walks for breast cancer
The team at Mountain Peak Marketing prides themselves in their community involvement. The firm recently participated in an event on Saturday, June 9th, to benefit breast cancer research and awareness at the 2nd annual Survivor Soul Stroll.
“We learnt that 1 out 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime” says Alex Amos the President of the company. “Knowing this, we felt like it was our duty to go out there and celebrate the women who fought against this cancer and won!
The walk was 2 miles and took place on a bright Saturday morning. The team was all set to walk unitedly to not only benefit breast cancer research, but to also walk in memory of a loved one, or in support of a survivor. The environment radiated nothing but positivity and hope.
Amos was ecstatic when he heard of the event’s success. He went on to describe how proud he was of his team. He said he was inspired by how quickly they jumped on board when he introduced the idea of attending the event.
Mountain Peak Marketing Donates to Move for Hunger Foundation.
The team has announced their involvement with the Move for Hunger Foundation’s local Pikesville chapter. They will be donating canned and un-perishable goods to the charity to be taken to a local food shelter.
According to the Move for Hunger Foundation’s website, the charity attains most of their donations via individuals and families relocating to new homes. The foundation understands that moving homes usually results in home owners throwing away perfectly fine food for the sake of not having to move it along with their other belongings.
The foundation was established in 2009 and had managed to collect over 50,000 pounds of food. After launching new programs for real estate and corporate housing, the charity reached an incredible milestone by collecting over seven million pounds of food.
It is no wonder than, why the CEO at Mountain Peak Marketing, Alex Amos, decided to pair with the organization. Even through the director wasn’t personally moving himself, the team’s donation was graciously accepted.
What separates Mountain Peak Marketing from the rest of the pack? By aiming our customer acquisition efforts within large retailers, we are able to target the most profitable segment of customers for our clients. Building comradery amongst each other is key to much of our success as a company. By supporting an open minded and creative atmosphere within the office, we are able to forge long lasting relationships with each other which we are able to translate to the way we treat our clients and their prospective customers.
Mountain Peak Marketing provides unlimited growth opportunities for everyone who joins our team. Advancement is based 100% on achievement not seniority. By pushing our candidates to step outside of their comfort zones while cross training them on all aspects of marketing, development, management, and coaching, we focus on developing all of our upper level Managers from within. Our hands-on training has helped individuals with little or no experience gain the knowledge needed to grow into an upper level management position with our company.
I have been working at Mountain Peak Marketing full-time (Less than a year)
There is a great chance for opportunity and professional growth. If you are looking for experience and development the managers will definitely help you to reach your goals. The schedule is flexible and managers work with you accordingly. I graduated with a marketing degree but I did not have any experience when I got this job but I have learned so much! I love that they are hiring for entry level positions and that they train you in all aspects of marketing. The pay is fairly enough, it really depends on your background.
Our managers are great with development and training. If you do not like being coached you would not like this position.
Advice to Management
Keep up the positive environment. This is what makes me want to come to work everyday!
I applied online. I interviewed at Mountain Peak Marketing (Owings Mills, MD) in February 2018.
I went to a first round interview with the director of operations we spoke briefly and I was invited back for a second round interview. I was explained in depth the positions and how to move up in the company also what's expected of me and the requirements I have to complete before promotions. It was very informative
