It's clear that some people are "in", some people are "out": it's not clear how that happens. Basically a complete lack of transparency: bonus, promotions, who gets involved in presales or interesting projects.
Advice to Management
Be more transparent with evaluations and processes even if it means vexing old timers, take more chances with people who've never been tried
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Murex (New York, NY) in December 2016.
A interview on skype, followed by a written test done at one of their offices. The contents of the test cannot be disclosed, but they are testing basic math, programming, and financing skills.
