Compensation is fair for the current market. Colleagues are interesting and well educated. The museum represents a high level of cultural perspective through it's mission and employees. The museum is not hesitant to invest in people and programs in an effort to remain sustainable.
Current trend of downsizing weighs heavily on current employees. Many corporate policies not in step with the personal and academic relationships many employees are accustomed to in the art/cultural fields.
The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Musical Instrument Museum.
I was contacted by the organization to interview for the position. It was two 30 minute interviews on the same day. Both interviews asked similar questions. I was annoyed with how long the organization took to get back to me to tell me I didn't get the offer.
