MuteSix was started in 2014 by Steve Weiss and Daniel Rutberg with one core mission — to provide companies with a highly effective user acquisition service that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. Recognizing the immense opportunity the platform provided, Steve and Dan focused primarily on Facebook and grew the company to be the “go-to” Facebook advertising agency in Los Angeles.
At the heart of Silicon Beach
MuteSix is headquartered in sunny Los Angeles mere minutes from the beach. As a proud member of the growing Silicon Beach community, we work with many of the innovative tech and ecommerce companies thriving in greater Los Angeles, but we're not satisfied with Southern California alone. Our clients hail from all over the world—from every region of the United States to several countries in Europe...and even Australia!
If your business has aggressive goals for customer acquisition and settles for nothing but the best, we are THE agency for you.
We make every effort to make sure our employees not only do great work, but also have a lot of fun doing it. If you love internet marketing and crunching data, but not keen on stuffy corporate environments, you’ll love working at MuteSix.
Be a part of something truly special
MuteSix is experiencing incredible growth—and we want you to be an integral part of it. In addition to being featured in more Facebook Success Stories than any other agency, we've been honored by Inc. Magazine as one of 2017's Best Workplaces and #341 on the 2017 Inc. 500.
I have been working at MuteSix full-time (Less than a year)
-Company culture is the best. Fun, supportive, and bright group. They do a great job hiring.
-Huge opportunities for growth both pay and management wise.
-Supportive and collaborative environment (not always the case at other agencies). The opportunities to learn and grow are endless.
-Work with super cool clients and test out awesome products.
-As with any agency, work life balance can be difficult (something I'm working on more for myself, less as a criticism of MuteSix. They give you unlimited vacation so a great flexible work/travel policy).
-Growing pains that happen with any high growth company.
Advice to Management
-Alway keep the company culture awesome, especially as you grow.
-Continue to always have employees backs (it is wonderful to always know that upper management will support you).
Standard 1st phone interview about the role and company. 2nd phone interviewer called 30 mins early, said he had a crazy day, then only spoke for less than 10 mins. Said he was going to call back in a few mins because he had to run but never called back. Very unprofessional. Don't waste your time interviewing at MuteSix. They are not respectful of your time.
