Mission: We are committed to setting new standards in healthcare. Working together around the world to provide 7 billion people access to high quality medicine we innovate to satisfy unmet needs, make reliability and service excellence a habit, do what's right not ...
“I think the biggest barriers for success are the ones we put before ourselves,” Andrea Miller, Mylan’s Head of Global R&D and Regulatory Affairs, tells @PharmaReview http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vQ2QE
Our Mylan employees in Pittsburgh captured the holiday spirit today through the collection of toys and household items for local children and families facing challenges this season. Way to go!
There are a lot of great companies, but not all give you the opportunity to work for a cause. Working together around the world to provide 7 billion people access to high quality medicine, our employees innovate to satisfy unmet needs; make reliability and service excellence a habit; do what's right, not what's easy; and impact the future through passionate leaders.
Our unconventional beginnings can be traced back to 1961 when Mylan’s founders traveled to small towns in West Virginia to give those in need access to medicine. Since then, we’ve become a global leader in the pharmaceuticals industry, often blazing the trail for others to follow.
As we transform into a healthcare company, we need talented individuals to grow with us, especially in the areas of Quality, Regulatory Affairs, IT, R&D, Medical Affairs, Sales and Marketing.
If you want to be part of an organization that is passionate about what it does, consider Mylan.
We appreciate our past – it’s what made us who we are today – but we understand that in order to continue to lead, we must accept no limits. We also understand that in order to be true to ourselves and the history of which we are so proud, we must continue to hold our values close.
Innovation: We are unconventional, visionary and bold. We “connect the dots” others overlook. We see possibilities and bring them to life. We love to challenge the status quo and introduce new and better ways to help people everywhere enjoy a higher quality of life. Having the courage to be a force for constructive change is in our DNA.
Integrity: Doing what’s right is sacred to us. We behave responsibly, even when nobody’s looking. We set high standards from which we never back down. This uncompromising ethical stance helps to keep our products pure, our workers safe and the environment clean.
Reliability: Dependable. Reliable. Call it what you will, we’ve made it a habit. We strive to be there through thick and thin, rain or shine, delivering on every promise, every time. That’s why people around the corner and around the world count on Mylan.
Service: We understand that “it’s not about us” – it’s about helping others – and we believe there's no situation we can’t handle. We would do whatever it takes, work ‘round the clock, cross any river and spare no effort – all to meet someone’s need. We wrap our high quality products in high quality service.
Teamwork: Together, we can run faster, reach higher and achieve more than any one of us can alone. We relish opportunities to collaborate because it’s invigorating, enlightening and powerful. When we join forces and plow through boundaries, we move mountains.
We place a premium on passion, innovation and teamwork and constantly challenge ourselves and our colleagues to find new and better ways to set new standards in healthcare. We are a “roll up your sleeves and get it done” organization.
At Mylan, the pace is fast and you’ll quickly understand what it means to be part of a global company. We follow the sun, working collaboratively with colleagues around the corner and around the world – all of whom share a strong commitment to our mission. When the world’s 7 billion people are counting on us, there’s no time to wait.
Our mission of providing the world’s 7 billion people with access to high quality medicine is more than just words – it’s personal. We know that the patients who use our products are mothers, fathers, sisters or brothers who rely on us to deliver medicine they can trust. And our people embrace this responsibility fully. In fact, each of our employees commit to play a role in achieving Mylan’s mission. We call this pledge 7B:1.
In exchange for their commitment, we reward and recognize our employees with benefits that allow them to do good and be well at work and at home. We also know that learning is continuous and sometimes the best opportunities for development come from outside the classroom. Our employees often take on new projects and maybe even new roles, stepping out of their comfort zones and going where their talents are needed most.
Mylan is looking for individuals who are experts in their field as well as those who are just beginning their career. If you have a desire to be part of a passionate team, if you think differently, approach challenges head on and embrace change, Mylan may be the place for you.
