Working with the smartest and brightest people, being part of meaningful projects and not just fetching coffee, learning so much more than any degree could teach you.

    Advice to Management

Work on offering better packages or salaries upfront to attempt in competing with the private sector. I am well aware that that is easier said than done, but they really need to start replenishing their ranks. I was told that the average age of a NASA engineer is 54 years old. What happens when a substantial part of the work force retires?

    Easy Interview

I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at NASA Langley Research Center (Hampton, VA) in December 2014.

The interview was by phone and mainly informed me about the position and requirements for the internship. I had a thousand and one questions, so the rest of the phone call was mainly conversational.

    Interview Questions

    • Are you willing to live with other students in a hotel?   1 Answer

There was no need for negotiation
