Mission: Increase transparency and efficiency for the trucking industry. Put drivers on the driving seats!
The NEXT Trucking family has been in the logistics business for over 15 years, running one of the largest TV distribution centers in Southern California. After witnessing firsthand the inefficiencies of the trucking industry, which included outdated processes and slow communication channels, CEO and Founder Lidia Yan established NEXT Trucking in 2015 to streamline the shipping process.
NEXT Trucking offers an easy-to-navigate online trucking marketplace and app designed first and foremost with shippers, dispatchers and owner-operators in mind. Utilizing predictive load offering technology and intelligent matching capabilities that factor in preferred routes, rates and additional key touch points, truckers are connected directly with shippers searching for efficiency, transparency and competitive pricing.
Our easy-to-use mobile app is available as a free download for owner-operators, fleet managers and company drivers to use. Fleet managers also have access to NEXT Trucking’s unique management platform which not only allows them to book and dispatch loads but also share capacity within the network. All small and medium-sized trucking companies benefit from NEXT Trucking’s large-scale capacity and can be reassured that their loads will always be covered.

I have been working at NEXT Trucking full-time
Great company vision to disrupt the trucking industry. Super talented and hardworking leadership team. I’ve worked at different startups at different stages. NEXT has the top notch talents that you may only find at late stage companies.
Not many perks comparing to other tech startups. The location is not ideal. The management doesn’t have much patience and sometimes moves too fast.
Advice to Management
Try spend more time to listen to your team.
The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at NEXT Trucking.
I first interviewed with HR manager and asked me basic experience questions. Then later I met with a Sales Manager asked me a scenario question, to sell my favorite product to him. It was an interesting interview option.
