I worked at NIBCO full-time (More than 5 years)
Many of the current employees have been there for years and my guess is they are staying until they retire then they're GONE, unless upper management finds any possible reason to get rid of them before that happens. Best group of co-workers ever.
Upper management is simply ruthless (specifically the top level female executive). Best of luck to all who remain, you are saints.
Advice to Management
It doesn't really matter because it will never change unless ownership is handed over to someone who cares about the company and the people.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at NIBCO (Mishawaka, IN) in July 2015.
Headhunter found me. Phone interview with the headhunter. Phone interview with the retiring CIO. In person interview with retiring CIO and President outside of the NIBCO offices. Had to contact the headhunter after a couple of weeks to find out that I was not selected.
