NIKE – Why Work With Us?

Until We All Win

At Nike, we believe in the inspirational power of sport to break down barriers, overcome differences and bring people together. To serve every athlete across the hundreds of countries where we do business we need teams that truly reflect the diversity of our consumers. We’re committed to fostering a culture of inclusivity and an environment of empowerment and respect — a place where everyone can show up fully as themselves and do their best work every day. We embrace different perspectives because we know everyone brings unique experiences and ideas to the team. No matter where we come from, a love of sport unites us.

NikeUNITED Employee Networks

Nike has eight Employee Networks, collectively known as NikeUNITED. They include: Ability Network, Ascend Network & Friends, Black Employee Network & Friends, Lationo & Friends Network, Native American Network & Friends, Military Veterans & Friends, Pride Network and Women of Nike & Friends. These employee-formed and managed communities offer resources to a diverse spectrum of individuals across Nike. All employees are welcome and encouraged to join, participate or become leaders within the Networks.

Our NikeUNITED Networks bring together employees and allies who represent the unique experiences, perspectives and ideas of our diverse global employee team. Networks serve to advance the development of their members, promote Nike cultural awareness and demonstrate our commitment to Diversity and Inclusion in the communities where we live and work.

Converse has five Employee Networks, collectively known as the Converse United. They include: Ability Network, Diversity Network, Military Veterans, Pride Network and Women of Converse. These Networks celebrate, elevate and empower what makes each of us unique.

If there is no planet, there is no sport. This understanding drives our North Star for sustainability — a future where all athletes have access to safe places to play and train, enjoy sport and realize their full potential.

Nike works with community partners on programming, engages our employees and makes investments around the world to create lasting change. We invest a minimum of 1.5% pre-tax income each year to drive positive impact in our communities and level the playing field for all. We also team up with our employees around the world to supercharge their charitable donations to nonprofits and schools through our Employee Matching Gifts program.

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at NIKE.

    Interview

I applied online. I received an email within 3 days to set up a time to go into the store for a group interview with the hiring manager. The interview was about a week or two out. There were 4 of us with the hiring manager and the store manager, but they basically went through a presentation about Nike's beliefs and correct conduct, before asking a few open ended questions to us. The questions weren't really directed at anyone, and everyone just kind of went around and answered them. At the end of the interview, they gave us a piece of paper with a persona on it, and we had to walk around the store and shop for that customer. The next day I was informed I was hired.
