I worked at NOVAtime Technology full-time (Less than a year)
NOVAtime treats you like family and is genuinely concerned for both you and your families well being. In addition, they really strive to be one of the best companies to work for and it is clear that they go above and beyond to make that a reality for all employees!
Despite a mere few who felt either over-worked or under-paid (Every company has a few of these folks), I felt that all of my co-workers were really great and talented individuals as well as pleasure to be around both in and outside of the office. To sum up, I really enjoyed looking forward to a new and exciting day each morning working at NOVAtime!
Communication between departments could be improved as well as employee ownership for mistakes. It appeared that no one really wanted to take responsibility when something went haywire and I feel that if there were better communication, expectations could be set and tasks delegated appropriately.
The R&D department, NOVAtime's backbone struggles with ESL more than I've experienced in any other organization resulting in a poor understanding and/or execution of business requirements ultimately leading to missed deadlines, software bugs and/or deliverables that do not meet client expectations.
Advice to Management
Meetings could be better organized and follow an agenda. In addition, technology devices such as cellphones should not be permitted by any level of staff including management.
