I have been working at NTT Security full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I started with the company in early 2013. Between then and now, much has changed. As the years have passed, I’ve felt more and more strongly about sharing my positive experience here for one specific reason. I have a disability. It’s a disability which I cannot hide. I disclosed this at my interview in late 2012. To my astonishment, I was hired. To my further astonishment, I’ve been and continue to be accepted for who I am. Of course, I do my part. I show up on time and do the best job I can. In return, those I work with and under treat me well. To illustrate this point further, recently I returned to school to learn a new skill. I hope to apply that skill here in a new role soon. Working full-time while going to school is difficult at times. When needed I’m able to arrange a half day or full day of vacation to give school the attention it requires. That alone is huge!

This goes further than I can share here but suffice it to say it’s an equitable arrangement. Is it perfect? Of course not. Nothing is.

I can only speak for myself and my experience. For the most part I have had and continue to have a good experience here. I have co-workers I’ve grown quite attached to. Having said that, no job is perfect. The bottom line is this, when you are one with a disability, an employer who is accepting of you is hard to find therefore is cherished. I have found that with NTT Security. In an age of job hopping, I’ve been here nearly six years. I plan to remain here for the foreseeable future.

    Cons

Growing pains. This is expected, but still it's a source of stress at times.

    Advice to Management

As tough as it is with the size of the company, please keep the current priority of as much communication as you can. it's important to staff.

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at NTT Security (Herndon, VA) in November 2016.

    Interview

I made contact with NTT Security at a Job Fair and the NTT recruiter ask for my resume and stated that someone would be contacting me within the week. A NTT Security Analyst contacted me and conducted a phone interview, which went well. I was informed that I would be contacted for a in person interview within a few days. Two days later, I received an email inviting me to their Herndon, VA office for an interview. The in person interview was with a three panel board of two SOC supervisors and another manager.

    Interview Questions
