I have been working at NY Insurance Fund full-time
Benefits, decent salary if in the right position, relative stability, decent location, great work/life balance, friendly co-workers overall
The employees are disgustingly unattractive, many of them have intense, evident psychological troubles, you can hit the ceiling as far as salary is concerned fairly quickly (though that's par for the course for many government employers), people in "diversity" functions are recognized by management far more than those who actually contribute to the business
I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at NY Insurance Fund (New York, NY) in November 2015.
Simple Interview Process. Basic behavioral interview questions. The experience was just average. I took the Professional Careers Opportunity Exam to get this job. I scored 100 and I waited about 1.5 years to start the interviewing process. You will meet with 3 member of the Claims team and they will ask you some questions. Its not difficult at all.
