I have been working at Nalco (More than a year)
A great company to work for with plenty of training opportunities. Recognizes and appreciates industry and sales experience. Supports the military by hiring vets while still hiring mostly civilians. Many assets and resources to support field representatives. Base plus commission.
Expect 50hrs minimum but strong performs work far more hours. Requires completion of 5-8 month technical certification program to start receiving commission and this program is difficult. Study time will require additional hours weekly to successful pass. Higher than average base pay means that they own your time. Heavy in administrative paper work load. This needs to be an industry you are interested in.
Advice to Management
The District Manager makes all the difference in the life of the representative. I had a good District Manager.
The process took 8+ weeks. I interviewed at Nalco.
I went for a nalco interview last summer in FL. It was an onsite interview. Just several behavior questions. I think I left a good impression but more on the technical side. so finally I did not get the job.
