I worked at Nanoprecision Products full-time (More than a year)
Very intelligent engineering staff and production. They are dedicated and do their best to meet the goals set before them. People work long hours. Benefits are good. Lunch is provided. Offices are nice and are being painted. All machines are new. This is a young company.
Large demands and stress put on the people brought about the need to have outside help to manage retention. Many workers not so happy due to stress.
Advice to Management
Stress causes many illnesses and makes an environment of unhappiness. Food and benefits do not help when you are sick from the stress.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Nanoprecision Products (El Segundo, CA) in May 2014.
It was a 6 hour process that included a panel interview, one on one interviews with the CEO and CTO. The CTO provided a very detailed and comprehensive tour of the facilities.
A 45 minute presentation is required. They wanted to know about my career and academic achievements.
Lunch was also provided.
Very knowledgeable and highly intelligent staff that does not approach in a condescending manner.
The experience was very positive.
