Retire Calpers at age 50 after vested for 5 years. Medical is 100% paid for employee.
Family healthcare is too expensive due to the rich plan. In my employment of 8 years I only received one COLA raise.
Advice to Management
Train the supervisors on their employees jobs.
I applied through college or university. The process took a week. I interviewed at Napa Valley College (Napa, CA) in May 2015.
Applied online, submitting resume. Received a phone call within 3 days asking to participate in an interview. To my surprise it wasn't with one person it was an entire panel of individuals. The panel interview included the lead IT manager and accompanying technicians ranging from systems networking to computer technicians.
