Our employees invest their time and talent in the company—and Nasdaq rewards that investment by providing a comprehensive total rewards package.  We recognize and reward employees for their hard work by providing competitive total rewards that address the financial, health, and work life benefits to help the employee balance work with personal life.  This is just one of the ways that Nasdaq fosters an employee-oriented environment.

Specific benefits may vary by country, but Nasdaq generally offers:

  • Competitive medical, dental, disability and vision coverage
  • Prescription drug coverage
  • Life insurance and disability protection
  • Paid  time off and parental leave benefits

Our commitment is to empower all employees to manage their own development by providing them with opportunities and resources that optimize both professional and personal growth.

Although training is perceived as the most common method of infusing new knowledge, most of our learning takes place on the job, and some through feedback and coaching. Nasdaq provides employees with resources to help them grow and develop.

These resources are comprised of internal and external offerings, such as our business, professional and financial market training courses; leadership development curriculum; and other seminars and courses. Our programs are tailor made to fit the needs of Nasdaq employees at different phases of their careers.

Nasdaq Leadership Development Program for Managers. An ongoing curriculum for management and leadership development to build existing skills and equip managers and leaders to be successful in their roles. Our internal Leadership Programs are conducted in multiple locations several times a year.

Nasdaq Future Leaders Program. Targets employees identified by senior management as our future leaders. The program focuses on leadership and solving business related challenges.

Nasdaq Mentoring Program. The purpose of the program is to provide junior- or mid-level individuals the guidance and personal development to be successful in their role.

    Pricing Analyst Interview

    Anonymous Employee in Philadelphia, PA

    Positive Experience
    Easy Interview

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Nasdaq (Philadelphia, PA) in December 2016.

Nasdaq HR recruiter contacted me through LinkedIn as I my profile was a good fit for a role in a growing team. Interview process was very easy and straightforward thanks to the fantastic HR Bruce.

    Interview stages were as follows:
    1) phone call with HR to assess fit, review resume and expectations.
    2) preliminary phone call with hiring manager with both basic technical (coding) Qs and behavioral Qs.
    3) HR called back to inform that I was selected to move to the on-site interview stage. I was asked to complete a short coding project with presentation. A week's time was given, which was ample despite my day job time commitment.
    3) half day on-site interview with hiring manager, peers and HR. The interview with hiring manager included the presentation and code review.
    4) Final decision notice took about 2.5 weeks but only because of the Xmas and New year holidays. Again HR was kind enough in letting me know that the decision would take time ( which was expected due to the holiday season).

I really enjoyed the interview process because all the interviewers conducted the sessions like open conversations, not just to assess my ability to fill the position, but also to help me understand what the role truly involved and if I wanted to be a part of it.

All the employees are brilliant without being alpha-competitive, unlike some other big name companies. Even after joining here, I have (happily) found that all my colleagues are honestly invested in the company mission and genuinely want everyone on the team to do their best. This is definitely something that influenced my decision to accept the offer, although the job profile showed excellent growth potential and benefits were competitive as well.
