I worked at Naterra International full-time (Less than a year)
I really enjoyed working at Naterra. The owner, Jin Song, has an entrepreneurial spirit and a great sense of humor. He' s not afraid to let his employees take risks, and has a "let's make it happen" approach. I got the sense that he truly cares about the happiness of his employees. Overall I found the work environment to be dynamic and enjoyed a tremendous amount of creative autonomy. No day was the same, which I love. My opinions were valued, and management was kind, professional, and lovely to work with. I left for an offer I couldn't refuse at another company, but I was truly torn and was sad to leave the team at Naterra. If you are a creative person who adapts quickly to new problems and want to work at a company where your impact will be immediate, I think you would like it here.
Salary could be more competitive but it's balanced by excellent benefits and an above average work/life balance. This is a wonderful place to expand your knowledge of CPG and grow professionally.
Advice to Management
I loved our management team, truly.
I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Naterra International (Irving, TX) in July 2015.
No phone interview. Three separate in-person interviews on three separate days. Interviews with VP Sales/Mktg, VP HR, and. CEO. Morale seemed low. Position was vacant because last person left with either no job or was fired. Referred to the position having been a revolving door. I enjoyed some of my interviews here; everyone was very pleasant. Office was brand new, but it also felt a bit sterile.
