What started with a dream in Andy Albright’s basement has grown into a blooming business with 160 corporate employees here in Burlington. The Alliance has grown from a single employee in 2002 when Albright was working out of his home to three buildings near Maple Avenue – including a 54,000 square foot main campus at 1214 Turrentine St. and two other satellite campuses. The little company that promised it would always, “Have Fun, Make Money and Make a Difference” is now more than 10 years old, but we are just getting started.

We created a training system called NAA University, where you can take online video courses on appointment setting, sales tips, product information, team building and more. The courses are taught by The Alliance's top agents, our Product Specialist, Gina Hawks and even our CEO, Andy Albright. We also offer weekly conference calls, webinars, videos, one-on-one coaching, meetings and more to help you succeed.
HotSpots are regular weekly meetings which provide you with local in-person training provided by NAA's most successful agents. By attending a nearby HotSpot, you'll receive practical training on how to turn a lead into an application.
HotSpots provide you with continuous training and association with other agents like you who make their living as agents of NAA. Not only that, but HotSpots also feature top speakers who are experts in showing the NAA plan to your friends or associates who you may want to introduce to the business.
Our leads are only available to our agents/agency partners that are members of The Alliance and are not sold on the open market. We do not sell our leads or data to any other company to generate additional revenue. We are not in the business of creating profit from selling leads – we are in the business of making profits from working those leads. We have the most comprehensive lead generation program in the industry. Much of what we do is proprietary and cutting edge in getting our agents in front of buying customers.

Growing up as a small boy in Burlington, N.C., Andy Albright knew the world had more to offer beyond what he saw in his community in the Piedmont Region of the Tar Heel state.
Albright, who founded National Agents Alliance, aka The Alliance in 2002, wasn’t sure how he would find a way to see the world, meet people from all walks of life and make a lot of money doing it. It wouldn’t happen overnight, but Albright was determined to be successful and live the life he dreamed of growing up.
He worked hard as a young man. He had an entrepreneurial spirit that led to him priming tobacco, raising and selling goats and gathering pine needles to sell to people around Alamance County.
He played sports with baseball being his first passion, but he knew he would never be the shortstop for the New York Yankees and gave up on that dream as a freshman at North Carolina State University. He continued working odd jobs as a student at NC State and earned a degree from the College of Textiles.
After working his way up the ranks at a denim factory, Albright realized he would never own the company or even run the company he worked for. This bothered him, and he started dreaming of what he could do that would allow him the freedom and the income he wanted in return for his work and effort.
After a few years of dreaming and drawing up potential business models, Albright discovered life insurance in 1997. He locked in on this industry and set about putting things in motion to start his own business.
Finally, he started The Alliance in 2002 and has quickly become known as the nation’s leading IMO in the mortgage protection industry. In 2007, Triad Business Journal named The Alliance as the Triad’s fastest growing company. Albright was named to the Triad’s Movers and Shakers list by Business Leader magazine. He has appeared in numerous newspaper and magazine articles and has appeared on several national and regional radio programs.
His refusal to accept his position in life is truly the American Dream. He worked hard to get what he wanted and made sacrifices in his 20s and 30s that most people would not have been willing to make in order to chase his dreams.
Even today with all his successes, Albright continues working to improve himself and his company on a daily basis. He is a man who is always on the “move.”
Albright lives on 45 acres of countryside land where he grew up as a child in Union Ridge, N.C. with his wife, Jane. They have two adult children – Haleigh and Spencer. The Albrights enjoy traveling the world, attending sporting events and concerts and watching movies.

Staff had a lot of facilities and benefits available on campus. There were also additional bonuses of concerts and sporting events made available from time to time.
Top management was difficult to work for. At times the work environment was loud and difficult to focus. Upward mobility seemed slow within some departments or non-existent.
Advice to Management
Let your department heads run their departments instead of trying to micromanage. It doesn't reflect well on your confidence in your employees.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at National Agents Alliance (Atlanta, GA) in February 2017.
Called unscheduled to speak to the hiring manager. He quickly found my resume for the interview we had scheduled on Monday. I told him about my accomplishments from the last ten years and I am looking for meaningful work and trying to find a work family that supports each other to be a part of long term.
