I worked at National American University part-time (More than a year)
Nothing specific to this school. Being an adjunct professor allowed me the time to arrange my schedule to suit my plans most of the time.
Subscribes to the common practice of paying adjunct instructors for only the time that we spend in class, even though all schools know--and even expect--that we will have to work outside of class in order to be effective in class. Yet we are supposed to spend time outside of class working without being paid.
Advice to Management
Pay adjunct professors a living wage.
I applied online. I interviewed at National American University.
First phone interviewed by an actual librarian who was in SD. Final interview was with Campus Directors. They asked mostly questions about how I would keep students going to school. Didn't realize at the time the school sees students in terms of dollar signs Should have read between the lines
