People are great, extremely safety conscious environment, interesting and unique work, highly specialized training, 401k, pension, fairly decent salaries, good work-life balance.
Pseudo-government job with good benefits means that people stay forever. Management career paths take a long time. Lost of bureaucratic red tape can cause the work to be produced at a slow rate.
Advice to Management
Help develop younger employees more, those positions that could work from home SHOULD be worked from home, or at least given the choice.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at National Security Technologies (North Las Vegas, NV) in August 2016.
The interview was simple and straight forward. It did not take long for the interview which was nice. I did not feel pressured or intimidated. Interviews should always be like this
