National Security Technologies – Why Work For Us?

About Us

National Security Technologies, LLC was formed in 2006 as a partnership between Northrop Grumman Corporation and three other corporate partners. Today these partners are AECOM (a successor company to Holmes and Narver), CH2MHILL and Babcock & Wilcox. Each of these companies brings a set of unique strengths to NSTec, enabling us to “reach back” for best-in-class tools for the improvement of the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS).

Our managing partner, Northrop Grumman Corporation, is a world leader in advanced defense technologies, has extensive experience in the management of complex operations.

AECOM, the world’s largest architecture and engineering firm, has decades of experience at the NNSS as Holmes and Narver.

CH2MHILL has demonstrated revolutionary improvements in environmental and waste management.

Babcock & Wilcox (B&W) brings extensive experience in the management of high-consequence nuclear and national security operations.

The Nevada National Security Site helps ensure the security of the United States and its allies by supporting the stewardship of the nuclear deterrent, providing emergency response capability and training, and contributing to key nonproliferation and arms control initiatives. We execute unique national-level experiments, support national security customers through work for others, manage the legacy of the Cold War nuclear deterrent, and provide long-term environmental stewardship for site missions.

A Premier National Security Resource
A large, geographically diverse outdoor testing, training, and evaluation complex, the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS) is a preferred location for the National Nuclear Security Administration's defense programs, as well as many other research and development efforts.

I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at National Security Technologies.

Time between the interview and the hiring process was two months. Because the job I applied for at the time required little to no experience, the interview process was easy. I interviewed with two supervisors. They mainly looked for personality compatibility. I was finally offered a job about two months later, and the in-process and orientation was one week.
