As long as you do your job you will have a job. Not a lot of opportunity to move up unless you're friends with management. It's a stable company and they don't lay off people if economy is bad etc.l which provides job security.
Not much opportunity to move up unless you're friends with management. They will promote their friends before you even if they are not qualify for the position. Pay is low compared to the average market.
Advice to Management
Promote people that deserve it.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at National Western (Austin, TX) in September 2009.
They look at your previous experience (one have to have related experience.) First you meet with the Manager and then with the direct supervisor.
Not much to negotiate about. It is what it is...
