Mission: Our mission is to bring exceptional consulting services to companies helping them successfully navigate the course of change.
Our vision is to be a high quality, high business value management and IT consulting firm; Navigator will hire and retain the best ...
I have been working at Navigator Management Partners full-time (More than a year)
Navigator established itself 16 years ago and has continued to grow ever since. The company has expanded to focus its growth in new ERP Cloud solutions, which is exciting. They're very willing to commit training and development dollars to supporting current and incoming employees interested in developing the associated new skills, as well.
The company culture is strong - very transparent and community-oriented, whether that be the community in Columbus (company headquarters), or in a developing market/office. Employees have a lot of influence over where time and money are spent outside of client delivery.
As with any growing organization in the midst of change, there is still ambiguity around exactly how to get where we're going. It's not a con, per se, but incoming employees need to be prepared not to have 100% of the answers and be willing to participate in the development of the answers.
Advice to Management
Continue the theme of transparency, even when you don't know the answer. People trust and respect you and appreciate knowing they are trusted and respected in return. This is especially true when they're being asked and/or trusted to take some ownership of our continued growth!
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Navigator Management Partners (Columbus, OH) in January 2017.
The interview process was very brief, the recruiter did a great job coordinating all of my conversations. Flow was Recruiter Screen > Director/Peer Phone Interview > Onsite Interview. From initial screen to offer took about 4 weeks (could have been shorter, but my availability made it go longer).
All in all I loved all of the conversations that I had with the consultants and leaders of the company. The entire process was pretty fun and the people just made the company feel natural and welcoming.
Our Kiva Team is currently 24 members strong, and has raised nearly $4K through over 150 loans, impacting 64 countries!
