I have been working at Navistar full-time (Less than a year)
Surrounded by very intelligent people - for the most part. Work life balance is good, if you are able to stay on track. Easy to get noticed by upper management. Due to previous 'conditions', management is always on the lookout for people who they can count on; you will get plenty of opportunities early on.
Attitudes of some workers just WILL NOT improve. Everyone in the company is familiar with the situation and the impact it's had on the business. Few employees maintain this piss-poor attitude and try to rub their negativity off on others—get over it, this gets us no where.
Advice to Management
Keep on doing what your doing. A higher level review of the long time employees could do a world of good. Get rid of those damn dark clouds they continue to fuel.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Navistar (Lisle, IL) in March 2017.
Interviewed by 2 people in person and another via the phone. The interview didn't take place until about 15 minutes after the scheduled time since they were running late due to them jam packing the interviews in a day or in a certain timeframe. Asked a handful of situational questions. This was a temp job to last until Halloween. Never got a courtesy notice regarding if I got the position or not, not that I'm surprised these days from companies.
