Mission: Helping People Live Better Lives
I have been working at Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services full-time (Less than a year)
I've been with the Department just a few weeks and have enjoyed everything about it. From orientation to job shadowing until position training starts, the people are super friendly and honest. I felt welcome when I joined the team which I know will make the job easier as I feel appreciated and having the support of my coworkers as a new hire.
Not too many, just acclimating to all the regulations of government takes some time. As with Amy job, it takes training, patience and eagerness to really get involved with the Department and the position.
I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services.
The interview process has an over the phone and in person interview. The in person interview has multiple people. Then at some point they get back to you about if you got the job or not.
“These employees and supervisors are an inspiration to all of us and I want to thank them for their hard work and dedication,” said Courtney Phillips, DHHS CEO. “It is a true honor for them to be nominated by their peers for this recognition. This group exemplifies the DHHS mission of helping people live better lives.” Congratulations to our #TeamDHHS Employees & Supervisors of the Year!
